Removals:

  • Removed Ultimate Invisible Wall Remover, which was causing too many bug reports associated with users accessing inaccessible areas.
  • Removed Two Bears High-Fiving, as the Psych Eval is skipped in UF.
  • Removed Hardcore Fire Effects (BURN), which is now included in Goodies.
  • Removed Goodspring Settles Remove Armor, which is now included in Goodies.
  • Removed TTW - Into the Deep Patch, replaced with Sarah’s Expansive Collection.
  • Removed Power Attack Tweaks in favor of using the bChargedAttacksCostAP Stewie Tweak.
  • Removed Caravan Card Control, which was causing [Dupe] renaming on various items.
  • Removed Mobile Truck Base and all associated patches.
  • Removed Just Enough Realism.
  • Removed Point That Thing Somewhere Else - TTW Patch, which is now TTW compatible natively.
  • Removed Mojave Scenery Overhaul and all associated patches, as this is no longer compatible with a large amount of other mods contained within UF.
  • Removed Mojave Flora Project - Grass atlas in favor of Rustic Grass.
  • Removed Powder Ganger Armor - Pristine Powder Gangers in favor of Clothes HD.
  • Removed Khan Armor - Killer Khans in favor of Clothes HD.
  • Removed Filthy Jackals and Tribal Vipers, as well as associated patches, in favor of a merged version.
  • Removed Pipboy Weapon Mod Vendor and Pipboy Vendor, as these were difficult to achieve the desired balance and felt like a “cheat code”.
  • Removed Flare Gun - Retexture.
  • Removed WAP - Laser RCW.
  • Removed School Art - TTW.
  • Removed Combat Knife - Combat and Chance's Knife Retexture.
  • Removed Classic Combat Armors - Tweaks for TTW Patch, replaced by STARS update.
  • Removed Enclave - CCombat Armor, replaced by STARS update.
  • Removed PipBoyOn Node Fixes - TTW Version, which is not needed with SMIM.
  • Removed PipBoyOn Node Fixes - Power Armor Visual Enhancement (PAVE) Patch, which is not needed with Titans of the New West.
  • Removed Enhanced Movement - Minor Optimizations, now included in Enhanced Movement.
  • Removed Fuchs run for memory considerations.
  • Removed Dnyamically Swapped LOD for memory considerations.
  • Removed Death, Save, & Reload Consequences, replaced with Life After Death.

Changes:

  • Enabled FO3 style repair, which will prevent the player from repairing past a certain condition level determined by their repair skill.
  • Enabled Stewie’s bChargedAttacksCostAP tweak.
  • Enabled auto read notes.
  • Adjusted the brightness of various imagespace adaptors, including Cateye, Nuka Cola Quartz, Ant Vision, Ghost Vision, and Friend of the Night.
  • Made luck more impactful regarding weapon jamming; 5 is unaffected, over 5 will have less jams on average, under 5 will have more jams on average.
  • Rebalanced the Walker of the Wastes, Master of the Wastes, Tourist, and Tour Guide challenges.
  • Patched the companion from Robot Dog Overhaul for Followers Formula Redone.
  • Change Wordle frequency to 80% (down from 100%).
  • Science now affects Wordle. For every 25 points above/below the lock level, you will receive/lose 1 guess.
  • The player can now make multiple attempts at hacking without being locked out of the terminal.
  • Increased the cost of replacement slave collars.
  • Changed the Sugar Bomb repeatable quest turn in rate to 5/10.
  • Rebalanced Reputation Gains across all Factions that have a Radiant Infinium Job Board.
  • Removed water beggars from the game until a more balanced solution is made.
  • Relocated Springvale Garage, which is now called Scrapyard Garage. Relocated the key and provided a note and quest associated with finding it. Also removed the radio vendor and repair.
  • Disabled perk and trait respecing in OWB.
  • Relocated the Arctic Riot Gear set.
  • Removed repair capabilities from Somah.
  • Famine now affects a wider variety of loot.
  • Switched from NVAO Hotfix to NVAO Various Hotfixes.
  • Replaced Sierra’s Nuka Cola machine with a static.
  • Changed some ySI icons on items.
  • Changed the Moonshine placed by Point Lookout Reborn to the New Vegas Moonshine to have parity with those found elsewhere.
  • Changed The Town of Vice - A Gomorrah Overhaul to a version made for TTW.
  • Prevented the player from being able to freely loot Fort Independence after earning reputation with the Outcasts.
  • Reverted death music to FO3 death music.
  • Removed the duplicate Lucky 8 Ball from Vault 22.
  • Changed Quick Select and Just Weapon wHeel to allow using consumables as long as any beneficial effect would occur, and to block them if beneficial effect would do nothing.
  • Adjusted FOV of non-scoped rifles to account for the fact that SWEEP was balanced with FO3 style aiming in mind.
  • The perk selection menu will no longer appear when the player cannot select a perk.
  • Companion action menu time dilation is now standardized with other menu related time dilation events.

  • Reduced overall memory footprint in the Capital Wasteland in an attempt to combat a memory leak we are triaging.
  • Fixed script controlling Father Clfford’s packages.
  • Fixed doctor related dialogue issues stemming from CWSR.
  • Fixed the player gear being impacted by Famine in Havasu Blues.
  • Fixed invisible cloud beasts in DMT.
  • Fixed incorrect merge of Bullet Time Improved.
  • Fixed the player being able to die during the Vault 87 cutscene.
  • Fixed Blood Packs and Preserved Blood Bags adding to the Stim-Ply Amazing challenge and not Vampire Lord.

Uranium Haze, Soft AF, and Hardercore Updates:

  • Uranium Haze:

    • Completely reimagined the way the flashlight is utilized. With assistance from Sneeze for Meshes, Cat for scripting, and inspiration from Ronis Pointlight Flashlight mod. Flashlight is now a COMBINATION of piplight for true ambient lighting, but augmented by the flashlight shader from NVR for forward facing vision. The end result is a more limited ability to see far, but more well illuminated and believable near illumination, without the many downsides of the flashlight shader in isolation (such as grass abnormalities, brightness blow out, etc). This is a DRAMATIC departure from prior iterations of the piplight or flashlight.
    • Overhauled shadows to reflect the changes to the shadow shader in the new version of NVR.
    • Overhauled the "above" and "below" aesthetics of all water sources.
    • Reworked the darkness of various exterior and interior cells, overall shifting to an even darker/moodier atmosphere while avoiding contrasted washout of blacks.
    • Reworked Dead Money exteriors significantly.
    • Fixed some interior shadow abnormalities.
  • Hardercore:

    • Dogmeat’s Territorial Mark will now allow fast travel to the mark for free.
    • A tutorial outlining the core differences seen in Hardercore will now be displayed when starting a new game.
    • Fixed the weapon wheel bypassing No Pipboy in Combat.
    • Fixed Water Bottling not giving unclean water.
    • Aligned Weapon Wheel time dilation with Quick Select.
    • Companion action menu time dilation is now standardized with other menu related time dilation events.
    • Removed lockout on Ammo Press Terminal in favor of TTW Ammo Press Rebalanced

Updating:

  • Please refer to Updating Uranium Fever for further instructions.

  • Altered or outdated lists will not be supported.

  • Notifications of missing mods post-update are normal and reflect plugin merging.

  • NEW - 1.4.0.0: For updates from pre-1.4.0.0 versions, a NEW INSTALLATION and NEW SAVE are BOTH REQUIRED. A COMPLETE reinstallation following ALL instructions is ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY and NON-NEGOTIABLE, as many installation instructions have changed and TTW itself has updated.
